Shake it Off

As I watched this white egret shake out her feathers, I had to laugh.

I'm guessing she was ridding her feathers of lake water.

Her crazy dance reminded me to shake off yesterday's woes and embrace today.

Psalm 118:24
The Lord has done it this very day; let us rejoice today and be glad.

1/2/16-As I was working on my computer, I caught the reflection of a sweet little bird on my screen. He'd landed on a branch outside the window. God's engineering of that little guy amazes me. What a beautiful sight to start my day.

Just like all sisters, they are different in many ways. ... But... They are learning their differences are what make them special, and they are each growing up to be who they are meant to be. God values every person. He created each child with reverence and respect and fashioned them as a unique work of art. Help them embrace the gifts God endowed them with and encourage them to discover who God made them to become. Betsy and Bailey will help a child see that God created them to be themselves.
